temp sensor and ECU. I then probed pin 28, and the other lead went to pin 60, which is ground. Then I went back to the engine bay and did the same to one wire of the coolant temp connector; one lead to the connector and the other to any ground.
I also did the same procedure to pin 30. What I was trying to do is get the same or close readings on resistance from the ECU end and the coolant connector end. Did I do it correctly?
So what you're saying is I should have left the coolant temp connected and then probe pin 28 and 30? How do you place a short?
